EDAM celebrates outstanding contributions to economic development in Manitoba through annual awards. These awards highlight individuals and organizations making a significant impact in their communities.

Rising Star Award

Recognizes an early-career economic development professional who has demonstrated outstanding initiative, leadership, and impact in the field.

Eligibility Criteria

Less than five years in economic development

Initiated or completed a major project that benefits Manitoba communities

Formed new partnership in CED

Has had an impact in the field of economic development

Must be a new project with total project cost over $100,000

Local, regional or provincial scope

Community or business focused

Demonstrated, significant impact to community / region
